Fundraising stories page 2
We rely on donations and fund raising activity, along with some sponsorship, to survive. In a nutshell - no money, no Friends of Parkies. So when we hear about the fantastic efforts of people to raise funds we like to shout about it and say thanks.

Friends of Parkies member Russell Davies daughter, Rhiannnon, works aboard a super yacht that is chartered out to guests . Generally the guests tip the crew for looking after them whilst onboard. As a crew they that take a percentage of each tip and put it in a pot which then gets donated to a charity or several charities.
Rhiannon suggested FOP and the crew agreed. We recently received a donation pf £1395, which I'm sure you'll all agree, is unbelievably generous .

"To all crew members, thank you so much for your awesome donation of £1395.00!!
I'm sure you'll all agree that this is a fantastic gesture and gratefully received. it wll allow the group to continue the subsidised purchase of Charco Cue 1's along with other help the group provide. We really can't say thank you enough times.
