ABOUT US
MISSION AND HISTORY
We are a Non-Profit Social Community charitable group for people who either have Parkinson's or care for someone living with the condition. We started an informal social group in April 2016 to meet, exchange and signpost ideas and information in a relaxed atmosphere. At every meeting we have guest speakers from various Parkinson’s related groups and therapists but also others not necessarily to do with Parkinson's who can offer support on a regular basis. 2018 saw us having social trips for the first time.
We are based in Gobowen, most of our members are mainly from Shropshire and get together normally on the second Wednesday of each month but some dates may change. Since starting we have become a Parkinson's Condition Social Community Group Charity within Shropshire.
Our meetings are held at St Martins Village Centre, Overton Road, St Martins, Shropshire.
